Do I need a Doctor's Prescription for Physical Therapy?
No, physical therapists do NOT require a prescription to evaluate and treat in the state of New York.  We work closely with referring physicians, and provide them with up to date progress reports detailing your progress.

Will you accept my insurance?
IPA SOHO is an out-of-network provider of physical therapy services.  As long as your insurance plan has out of network coverage, you will be reimbursed based on your benefits.  IPA SOHO will provide you with a superbill that can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement.

How do I find out my insurance benefits?
An IPA SOHO administrator will gladly verify out of network benefits.  We will provide specific documentation requested by your insurance company to substantiate that your physical therapy care is medically necessary.

Physical Therapy sessions are typically one hour.  However, if requested, we can accommodate patient's for half hour sessions as well.  A half hour session must be requested following the initial evaluation or during a prior therapy session.

What should I wear to my physical therapy evaluation?
